GOTTA SEE IT IN LARGE. And no, this is not Middle Earth. It's an Alpine rest lodge in the Dolomites. The sense of massiveness is almost overwhelming. I need to go there...after Iceland...well, maybe before Iceland. Note the trail that cuts across the foreground mountain. Not a trail to be taken lightly. Had to post ANOTHER FROM THE SAME AREA, oh and what the heck, its the weekend...HERE'S YET ANOTHER. If you look in this last one, you get a sense of scale from the pair of tiny hikers on the lower left.
