January 5, 2008 HDR Thriller (Saturday)

"Saturday" was the search word of the day, and what a word it turned out to be. I usually have to wade through a bunch to find the cream, but many of the pics that came up today were fantastic. Way too many good ones to choose just one. But in the end, I believe it was fate that I found these two thematically similar shots, similar even down to the time of day....but one is very comtemporary and the other is of an historic building in Paris. Enjoy them both...even more enjoyable in large size...

Do you have a preference?

I found the second photo a bit more interesting... mostly because of the color of the dome, but also because of what appear to be ghost images of the people, located more toward the center and farther from the camera. Maybe an artifact of the HDR process? Super shots!

I prefer the colors/mood of The Bridge. I love the "path" leading the viewer in.

Thanks for the comments. The ghosts in Photo 2 do appear to be artifacts of the HDR processing.
